Danmarus & Co. was founded by two accountants and two bookkeepers back in 1991. Dana, Nicholas, Lucy and June, having worked together for a number of years, decided to form a smaller and more responsive accounting firm.

The name Danmarus is derived from the first three letters of DANa and MARino and of course US, meaning the bookkeepers.

Nicholas Marino, now sole proprietor of Danmarus & Co., continues to provide accounting, taxation and other financial services that Danmarus & Co. was originally founded for.
